Months ago Jenna told me that her dream wedding would be a snowy winter wedding, but thought that because she was getting married in Qualicum Beach her dream wedding was just that, a dream. We had a lot of rain here during the month of February, but a few days before her wedding it started snowing. I kept a close eye on the forecast and it looked like her snowy wedding was going to be a slushy wedding as we were due for a lot of rain on their wedding day. Thankfully the weather held out and Jenna and Aldon got a snowy winter wedding and the rain didn’t start until well after their wedding!
They continued this Snowy Winter Wedding theme by spending a few days in Whistler for their honeymoon where it snowed the entire time they were there.
Greg played with the winter theme by giving them some variety with their ice and ring shots…
We had a second shooter at this wedding – thank you very much to Gloria Bell! One of the great things about choosing to add a second photographer to your wedding (an option that we offer to all of our brides and grooms) is that you get the same shot from different angles. Two of my favourite images from Jenna and Aldon’s ceremony were the kiss shots – you can see the one that Gloria took and the one that Greg took, it is the same kiss from different angles.
